Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center names Dean A. Dalbery, Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors of Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center announced the appointment of Dean A. Dalbery as Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Dalbery is highly regarded as an accomplished care management executive with full-cycle leadership capabilities. He has had over twenty years of health services experience with particular expertise in strategic planning and business development in both the commercial and government sectors. Mr. Dalbery served on the Board of Directors for two years and was tapped to assist during last year’s transitional period.

“Dean’s appointment reflects our fundamental belief that SBA is poised to embark on a new and exciting era of growth and opportunity to further serve one of our most vulnerable populations; substance addicted women who are pregnant and/or parenting.” said Steven R. Press, President of the Board of Directors.

“He is a strategic thinker with the vision necessary to create unique and innovative solutions to evolving industry challenges” said Press. “He is a compelling communicator who believes in collaboration and building critical community partnerships.”

Some of Dean’s most notable accomplishments prior to Susan B Anthony Recovery Center include co-founding Heritage Health Plan and the Heritage PPO where he helped to develop the company’s first provider risk-sharing HMO model and founding Health Access, Inc., a multi-state Preferred Provider Organization.

Mr. Dalbery is a graduate from the University of Miami. His professional affiliations have included the IPA Association of America (TIPAAA) and the Florida PSN Association. He is also active in associations for Managed Care Executives and Accountable Health Organizations.
