This year’s National Recovery Month’s event was in Broward at the Museum of Discovery and Science. These pictures do not do this event justice, there were over 500 attendee’s! The food was amazing, the vendors spectacular, the museum was so much fun and the speaker and award winners inspirational. It truly was a magical night.

SHE-roes was sponsored by United Healthcare and presented by Memorial Healthcare System where we honored 10 amazing women in our community for all they are doing to make a difference in the lives of people every day. Macy’s presented a fashion show with the latest looks for the season that was sponsored by Meridian Treatment Solutions, and Brown & Brown Insurance. We also enjoyed beautiful raffle prizes donated by amazing donors such as The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and had a delicious fall inspired luncheon at the Pine Island Ridge Country Club in Davie, FL. This event not only honored women in our community but also helped raise funds for the Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center. We are a residential and outpatient addiction treatment center for pregnant women and mothers with children.
We here at Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center have SO much to be grateful this new year. 2018 brought us many great things but we really want to thank each and every person who made our Toy Drive and holidays a success this year. Our moms were so emotional from all the love they were given. Here are some pictures of our Adopt-A-Family United Way of Broward County party, Potential Church’s holiday party, Santa’s Workshop, and Mrs. Clauses Closet. We’re going to try to list everyone here but if we missed someone, send a shout out so we can add them!! On Nov. 16th Ultimate Software, Inc.brought 80 of their team members to volunteer here at the center. We had so much fun and to watch this dedicated, hardworking, and passionate team accomplish so much was a pleasure. Our moms are still talking about what a great day it was, and how grateful they are for the donations brought to them that day. Thank you again for all you did and all you will be doing in future. #MomsMatter#UltimateSoftwareCares #PeopleFirst
We are SO lucky to have such a giving community. Beckman Coulter came out with 30 of the most amazing volunteers to our center. They went through and organized our ENTIRE Chic Boutique, reorganized our food pantry, moved furniture, set-up Santa’s Workshop & Mrs. Clauses Closet for the holidays, scrubbed chairs and list goes on…Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your amazing dedication and team work! #MomsMatter #BeckmanCoulterGivesBack
Here at the Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center we know how to party! The holidays are always a fun time and Halloween was no exceptional. Our clients made these ghoulish treats and our kids had so much fun trick-or-treating through the offices. Although being an addict is something serious, we take time to lighten up and enjoy fun times.
