Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center Highlighted on “CNN Presents”!
The television channel “CNN” came to The Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center for two full days to film a story on the impact of prescription drug abuse on our communities and families. We participated in the filming of this story to educate the public about how prescription drug addiction is on the rise in this country. In Broward County alone, we have more “pill mills” than anywhere in the country. One of the women featured in the story was a resident of Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center and has since successfully completed our program. The series aired Sunday, July 31st at 8:00 PM (and 11:00 PM due to a President Speech Interruption) on their series “CNN Presents”.
