Donating Clothing
Many of our families arrive with only the clothes on their backs.       We are always in need of new or gently worn ladies clothing and shoes as well as clothing for newborn to children up to 12 years of age.

For our new moms a gift card can assist them in purchasing new layette items, bottles and blankets.

Donating Household Goods
Our center is comprised on 40 Apartments for our families.
These apartments continually need everything from dishes, flatwear, cooking utensils, shower curtains, linens and shelf-stable food.

Donating Furniture, Electronics and Appliances
We are always in need of dining room furniture, tables, chairs, sofas, toasters, small microwaves and coffee makers. If you have gently used items to donate, please contact the office to determine our needs before dropping off these large items.

Donating Toys and Baby Items
When making donations of toys, games and baby items, please remember to donate only gently used items that are child safe and have been cleaned.
We also need cribs, playpens and strollers.
Items such as carseats must meet current safety standards.

BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS

The Susan B Anthony Recovery Center welcomes partnerships for the business community. Support from your business helps us to increase community awareness, build support for our families and raise money for our programs. In return, your patrons and clients will be proud to know that you support your local community.

Sponsor an employee giving campaign to encourage donations. You can make it even easier by offering to help by deducting contributions from their pay. You also may offer a matching donation to encourage employee to give.

Help us spread awareness by adding a link to the Susan B Anthony Recovery Center on your website or blog.

Sponsor a Susan B Anthony program or marketing material. Your company name and logo will appear on all printed materials and on our website.

Start a charity drive to collect donations from patrons and employees.  Receive our monthly e-newsletter to find out the most needed item for the month or call the Development Office for information at 954-733-6068.

Donate your services or products to the center or to one of our events, auctions or raffles.

Host a Charity Day at your place of business, such as a special sale day, or an employee giving day. Ask our Development Department of all the fun was to raise money in your workplace while building teamwork among your staff.

In Honor Of … Share your passion for giving by making a donation in honor or memory of someone you love. A birthday, anniversary, congratulations or any occasion maybe honored with a donation. A letter acknowledging your donation will be sent to your Honoree on your behalf.

Endowment The Susan B Anthony Endowment Fund is our investment in the future of the center. Your contribution is a lifelong legacy which will allow the center to serve families for generations to come.

Leave a Legacy Rich or Poor, you can make a difference with a simple legacy gift. A simple directive in your will can bring welcome support to the Susan B Anthony Recovery Center. Contact your financial advisor to establish your gift.

The Healing Circle

The Healing Circle is our annual membership giving club that honors our supporters who pledge more the $500 a year to help us provide for our families.  Membership is more than a number; it means you are a very special member of our family.  As a valued family member, you will enjoy special invitations to our yearly graduation, special events and our annual donors’ breakfast.
